How It Works
There are no predefined entry categories, no entry fees, and no pay-to-win. Every submitted book is actually reviewed by our team, and the best rise to the top — it's that simple.
A welcome from our founder, Rohit Bhargava
Entries are accepted from mid-August through late October. Authors, publishers and publicists mail two printed copies of each book — there's no entry fee, and no categories to choose.
Through the fall, our review team actually reads every one of the 1,000+ submissions — selecting the 100-book longlist announced in mid-November, then narrowing it to the shortlist revealed in early December.
Each December, five books are named winners — the most Original, Useful, Entertaining, Shareable and Important books of the year — revealed during our live announcement show on YouTube.

Submitting your book for consideration is completely free.
Mail two printed copies of your book to our submissions address. Galleys and advance copies are accepted.
No digital or audio submissions are accepted.
Books must have a publication date between November 2025 and December 2026.
